If you both decide to start relationship therapy, your relationship comes into therapy. My starting point is: how do the partners make contact, what are the unspoken expectations of both partners and what does the relation need.
It's of great importance to once in a while examine your relationship. Do we really still listen to eachother? Is there a real encounter and how do we make things discussible. Experience teaches us that partners, often unawarethat they are doing it, fill in everything for each other. Untransparant patterns will then come into existence.
In general relationship therapy is a very short-term therapy: after the intake much can become clear within 5 or 6 sessions of 75 minutes.
